We’re incredibly sad to announce that due to some last minute travel issues out of his control, minusbaby won’t be able to make it to Europe to perform at SuperByte. Kindly stepping up at the very last minute to take his place though, we’re happy to welcome MONODEER to the SuperByte 2015 lineup!

Monodeer is the alter ego of Dutch electronic musician Mark van den Heuvel who combines his eternal love for 8-bit, noise and basslines into inimitable live sets. Using two classic Nintendo Gameboys as instruments, he energetically explores, challenges and breaks through the pixelated boundaries of the micromusic scene. Monodeer’s own brand of dark, noisy, lo-fi mastery will get you moving to the sounds of deep chip-bass and melodic hooks. Minimal means. Maximum sound.

Henry Homesweet (Essential Chip Mix DJ Set)

As well as performing as one half of CYMBA, Henry Homesweet will perform a very special ‘Essential Chip Mix’ DJ set to close SuperByte 2015!

Henry Homesweet explores archaic technology to find creativity through limitation. He has performed at parties worldwide with his eclectic live sets and DJ sets, replacing DJ decks with dusty hardware & delivering Lo-Fi synchronized techno & electro fresh from the chips.

His Essential Chip Mix selections are a true high point of the annual chipmusic calendar and we’re honoured to have him perform one live at SuperByte.

After slaying the Open Stage two years running, Infotoxin joins us on the main stage in 2015!

Infotoxin is Belfast’s finest purveyor of the deepest, darkest basslines, dubbed out beats, and allegedly irresistible, yet highly illegal dolphin noises.

The OSC BOX Records artist and occasional Gamepak Collective Dublin collaborator has spent the last two years playing stages accross the UK, Europe and Japan, combining Game Boy and Mega Drive sounds to produce the most sub-heavy dubstep, grime and garage bangers known to chiptune.

“Fun fact – you can’t hear an Infotoxin song, only feel it.” – CDK
